Regent Global launches Public Learn: a source of infinite goodness for free

On 13 June the President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe launched publiclearn.lk, a philanthropic project from Regent Global. Public Learn is a one-stop shop signposting users to free courses from some of the world’s leading universities. Regent Global’s joint CEOs Tharshiny Pankaj and Dr. Selva Pankaj were both born in Sri Lanka and spent their early years in the country before leaving for the UK during the civil war. They have long wanted to support their motherland and fellow citizens in some way.

Public Learn democratises learning by helping people find hundreds, if not thousands, of formal outside-ineducationcourses: in other words, courses to acquire knowledge. Public Learn also gives Sri Lankans access to several courses that offer inside-out education: courses to develop the character, attitude and mindset needed to succeed in life. The inside-out education courses available through Public Learn include four Regent Global courses created by Dr. Selva Pankaj: Thinking into Character, The Mindset, the Power of Learning from DAD and Think and Grow Rich. The ideas in these courses transformed the lives of many Americans from the 1930s to the 1970s and after the Great Depression inparticular. Today, the leaders of the fastest growing companies in Silicon Valley, California follow these principles.
