In a significant move aimed at unifying and strengthening the global operations of Regent Group, joint CEOs Tharshiny Pankaj, and Dr. Selva Pankaj have unveiled the creation of One Regent Team.

The new One Regent structure will streamline operations across all regions, ensuring that every team, whether in the UK, UAE, India, or Sri Lanka, is aligned with a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities. This pivotal change is designed to increase efficiency, collaboration, and focus as Regent Group expands its global footprint.

Dr. Selva Pankaj commented: “Our UK team is already well-established with defined responsibilities. Now, we are integrating our teams in the UAE, India, Sri Lanka, and beyond into this framework. This transformation presents a tremendous opportunity for all of us, regardless of location, as we unite under the One Regent vision.”

Strengthened Leadership & Reporting Structure

To support this global initiative, Regent Group has appointed key leaders to oversee operations across the newly unified structure. The leadership team will include:

  • Carol-Ann Maxworth, Group Chief Commercial Officer
  • Aamena Hanif, Group Chief Governance and Compliance Officer
  • Paras Patel, Group Chief Finance Officer
  • Reshma Nair, Group Head of Human Capital Management and Development
  • Alka Taylor, Group Commercial Operations Manager

These seasoned professionals, who have been with Regent Group for years, will report directly to Tharshiny and Dr. Selva Pankaj, ensuring Regent’s core values and future vision are fully embraced and implemented throughout the organisation.

Looking Ahead: Global Growth and New Opportunities

As part of the reorganisation, Regent Group has outlined its key operational areas for the academic year 2024/25. These include:

  • Regent College London (UK)

Further expansion is planned for 2025/26, with Tharshiny and Dr. Selva Pankaj leading the development of new products and services across multiple sectors.

Distributed Headquarters: A Truly Global Presence

Reflecting Regent Group’s commitment to being a truly international organisation, the company has established distributed headquarters across four key cities: London, Dubai, Mumbai, and New York. This model ensures the company can harness talent and opportunities from diverse regions, aligning with its goal of global growth and impact.
